Beauty trend: Facial Oils

Facial Oils have become big in the beauty industry the last few years. I’ve been using facial oils regulary for about 4 years now and love it. Although they are very popular I do realize that there are still plenty of people who intimidated by the idea of putting oil on your skin, especially if you have an oily complexion. The key is to figure out which oil is right for your skin, and start slowly with just a drop or two. Here are some of my favorites;

First off is a product I’ve only used for a few weeks but absolutely love. The Estelle & Thild BioDefense Multi Nutrient Youth Oil is a powerful facial treatment is supposed to boosts the skin’s youthful radiance and hydrate the skin from the inside out. Let’s face it, I’m 27 and have reached and age where I need to start using products made to combat early signs of ageing. I’ve used products from Estelle & Thild before and have loved them all, this is definitely one of the better facial oils I’ve tried. I switch between using it by itself or mixing it in with a moisturizer or serum, depending on how much moisture I need. It’s easy to use and it leaves my skin feeling more resilient and healthy, as well as it smells incredible. The next facial has been following me in my beauty bag for a couple of years now. Kahina Giving Beauty 100% Organic Argan Oil is healing and moisturizing oil is light and non-greasy, it absorbs quickly and gives a soft glow to my skin. Argan oil is extremely rich in vitamin E and antioxidants and is said to have plenty of benefits for your skin, like; minimize fine lines, restore elasticity, soothe irritation and neutralize free radicals that cause signs of aging. This is a little bit on the pricey side but the product will last you forever. I have the ila face oil for glowing radiance in travel size (as I travel a lot I’m obsessed with travel sizes!) and I love the wonderful smell, it’s super feminine and rosey. Two or three drops is really all I need for my face and two for my neck and chest. It leaves my skin feeling really good, super smooth and moisturized. It doesn’t clog up my pores or cause any blemishes. Last but not least is one of my staple products. I always get a bottle of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse when I’m in France and do my French pharmacie haul. It is a dry oil for body, face and hair and it is wonderful! I love putting it on all over my body and face after a bath or before going to bed. It is a true dry oil that sinks into your skin immediately without leaving a greasy feeling. It moisturizes well and makes your skin soft and satiny. I know some people find the scent a bit overpowering but I personally love it.
