Monday Beauty Tip #29: Choose thin cotton pads

Today’s beauty tip may not be a big surprise, however it’s one that can be easy to forget. Choose your cotton pads wisely – thick, fluffy cotton pads or cotton balls tend to absorb more product (and drip) which makes you use more product in the process. So, you can save product (and money) buy choosing thinner cotton pads instead as you’ll need less product for a saturated pad.

Next time you buy your cotton pads keep in mind that thin cotton pads absorb 50% less product and, because they’re easy to wield, do a better job of removing those last traces of makeup residue or nail polish. Also with thin cotton pads there’s no fluff ending up on your skin. :)

This is such a great tip! Thank you! <3 Recently I've bought a very bad quality cotton pads not only they are irritating my skin but I really see how they consume my toner and practically nothing left! When I'm trying to put the toner to my face – the cotton pads are nearly dry! I have to buy the right product :)

I have a good advise from a brand about using cotton pad : you can damp them a bit and the product will be more efficient because it will stay at the surface and not be entirely absorbed ;)

And I often cut them in 2, by this way, I keep them longer ;)

    I hope I’ve been clear ;)

    Have a nice day :)

I always use my Avene water spray to damp the cotton pads a little :) That way they really absorb less of the product and I also get the benefits of the thermal water!
