Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Treatment

The Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer is hands down the best deep conditioning treatment I have tried! The fact that castor seed oil is one of the main ingredients (not silicone like so many other treatments) is also a huge plus. Personally I used to think pre-shampoo treatments were quite bothersome, however now I find it much simpler than using one after washing your hair as you don’t have to wait in the shower or go out and back in again. The results of this treatment are also excellent, especially if you are looking for moisture and to strengthen your hair overtime.

So, I apply only a small amount of this treatment to the mid-length and ends of my hair, I used to put too much in the beginning but after a couple of uses I figured out I only needed a tiny bit. I apply it to damped hair and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes, sometimes longer (1 hour) if I have time. I mainly focus on massaging it into my hair and comb it through with a wide tooth brush and pop a shower cap on.

I think Elasticizer is one of those products that really works wonders for many different hair types. Especially if you have fine hair (like me), the fact that it gets washed out means it will not weigh down your hair like other treatments can. I didn’t notice a huge difference in my hair immediately but I noticed a huge improvement in my hair condition after a couple of uses, and now 2 months after I started using it my hair is in really good shape. This product adds so much moisture to my hair without weighing it down.

My hair is completely different now compared to before I started using this product – it feels light, silky, clean and strong! I’m in love with this product and I can’t wait to see my hair continue to improve with further use! :)

Å, den fikk jeg skikkelig lyst å prøve! Har også fint hår som deg. Men er det en fugtighetskur eller en proteinkur egentlig?

Hello Hanne! I would like to try this conditionner since it seems wonderful but I could not put castor oil on me…. don’t you think it’s disgusting?

    Have a good day!

Hi Emeline. Hehe, castor oil is great for the hair, you don’t smell it at all in this product (if thats what you find disgusting?). :)
