Monday Beauty Tip #16: Change Your Pillowcase Often

Changing your pillowcase more often can help you prevent unnecessary breakouts. Your pillowcase collects all kinds of dirt that can clog your pores over time, it can be everything from conditioner residue left on your hair or facial creams, to sweat and drool. That’s why dermatologists recommend you to change your pillowcase at least once a week, or more if you’re acne-prone. For those with oily skin and hair, or for those who experience night sweats, it is recommended to change sheets two to three times a week.

Washing your sheets regularly will also get rid of dust mites (which are tiny bugs that feed off dead skin cells) that can cause allergies, leaving you with pink patches or puffy, itchy eyes.

    I think its a great advice,i do it every week.since few months i changed my coton pillowcase for a silk one as i read in magazines that it prevents wrinkles and also when u wake up your hair are less does work for me!
