Chanel 531 Péridot

Better late than never… I wasn’t sold on this when looking at pictures online but when I saw it in the shop at Oslo airport I had to have it!

I would describe Peridot as a very unique and unusual colour.
In the bottle it looks gold with greenish-blue tinges. On the nail the color isn’t too different but its a lot more dynamic. In direct light it’s a lovely deep gold. In softer light it’s gold with greenish-blue edges. In darker light it varies between green-gold and teal. And in bright sunlight the golden sparkles this gives off are incredible!
Originally I though this nail polish was better suited for fall and winter, but actually I think it works for great for all seasons. Love it!

It’s kind of magic !! So much beautiful colors mixed all together (poetic huh ?) ;).
And i love the name, there is something classy and elegant.

Anyway, it looks great on you.
    Really !
I mean, it doesn’t fit to everyone, it requires nice and thin hands, like you.
