Moisturize me!

With colder weather comes dry and chapped skin and unfortunately I’ve seen a change in my skin the last week or two. Luckily I’ve filled up my body lotion supplies with some lovely creams!

A good moisturizer is essential for dry winter skin (yes let’s face it, winter is just around the corner). Moisturizers can not only treat dry skin, it can protect sensitive skin and even improve tone and texture. In fact, moisturizing year-round can help improve the quality and appearance of your skin. These are some of my favorites right now;

Caudalie Vine Body Butter
This rich repairing and soothing, deeply hydrating body moisturizer, with a delicious light scent and velvety texture melts into skin and provides all the therapeutic benefits, glamorous application and efficiency of Vinothérapie Spas.

First thought – oh my, this cream smells SOO good! It has a fresh, faintly citrusy smell, which is wonderfully refreshing without overpowering. Amazingly, the Body Butter manages to feel light and airy going on and yet my skin feels deeply hydrated post-application. An absolute new favorite!

Burt Bees Radiance Body Lotion
A healthy radiance fit for a queen. This natural body lotion is specially created to enhance your skin’s radiance. It’s formulated with Royal Jelly, one of nature’s most nourishing substances, and vitamins A, C, D and K, as well as multiple B-vitamins. Sunflower oil moisturizes and mica, a light reflecting mineral, enhances your skin’s natural glow.

Amazing body lotion! I absolutely adore the shimmer, which is just enough to give a nice glow. The scent is tough to label but it smells great none the less. The consistency is a tad bit tough to apply some times but you get used to it. It absorbs in an instant and is not greasy at all.
Buy it at Cheap Smells.

Glo Minerals Honey Sugar Butter
Honey Sugar Butter has been specially designed to hydrate and protect the entire body. This intensive formula contains the active ingredients Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamins A, F, D, E and K to protect the skin from free radical damage while also nourishing it.

A very moisturizing and intense body butter. It definitely hydrates my skin very well, but it can for some be a bit hard to apply as the consistency is a bit thick, which also means it takes a bit longer before the skin absorbs it. I really like the lovely scent from the sweet almond oil and overall this is a great cream if you have dry skin!
