Hello sweethearts! It’s been a while since I did my Monthly Favorites-posts so I thought it was about time to show you which products I’ve been loving lately. I’ve discovered many new products over the last couple of months and here are some of my favorites from the month of March.
Caudlie Gentle Buffing Cream
I bought this buffing cream when I was in Paris in January and while traditional scrubs often feel too harsh on my skin this one really exfoliates well without irritating. I have dry sensitive skin and this this scrub is exactly what I need – very gentle but very effective. I use it about 1-2 times a week and my skin feels smooth, fresh and looks radiant after use. Caudalie makes excellent quality products and this is no exception.
Mermaid No 1 Perfume Oil
I’ve been a huge fan of orange flower for years so I was thrilled when I discovered this perfume oil from Mermaid. The scent is absolutely gorgeous – feminine and delicate. The cute bottle is perfect to bring with me when I’m traveling. I think the quality is simply awesome, it smells amazing and stays on long.
Dr. Hauschka Quince Day Cream
I was originally planning to buy the Dr. Hauschka rose cream but I’m not a huge fan of the scent so I chose this one instead which smells fantastic (citrusy sweet yummy). This cream is great for cool weather – light-weight but intensely moisturizing. My skin feels really hydrated after use and looks radiant. It also leaves a great base for foundation in cool weather.
Caudalie Grape Water
I just recently discovered this product and wrote about it not too long ago. I absolutely love this stuff, it’s very moisturizing and it makes my skin glow. It’s really nice for setting makeup or to spray on whenever you feel in need of a bit of moisture. A simple but amazing product.
Origins Drink up Intensive mask
I bought this mask about 10 days ago and it is exactly what I need in a moisturizing mask. It’s an overnight mask and so far I’ve used it three times. It’s emollient and creamy, smells delicious and I wake up with significantly moisturized skin without feeling greasy or oily. I also used this mask on the flight to Brazil as my skin usually gets very dry and dehydrated after long haul flights. One tube would last forever as you don’t need much at all.
La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Eyes
I started using this eye cream about 2 months ago and I really like it. It feels really refreshing and cooling which is exactly what I need in the morning. This cream doesn’t interfere with concealer which is a huge plus for me. This cream reduces minor puffiness and improves eye bags which can be a problem for me on certain days.
Ole Henriksen Pure Perfection
I recently re-discovered this night cream from Ole Henriksen and I really enjoy using it. The Pure Perfection cream is made for dry skin but I wouldn’t say it is too heavy, it sinks in pretty quickly. The cream has lots of ingredients that is supposed to be good for you; AHAs (glycolic and lactic acids), antioxidants (vitamin c and beta carotene), primrose oil +. I apply a small amount of this cream and gently massage it into my face, you can feel the tingle of glycolic acid, but that goes away pretty quickly. When I wake up in the morning my skin is soft, smooth and radiant. Read my full review here.
Did you guys use any of the products above? Any new discoveries the last month? :)
