Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Ébloui

I got this amazing eye shadow from Chanel for my birthday and I am totally in love! Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Longwear Luminous Eyeshadow in Ebloui has become one of my favorite eye shadows – ever. The color of Ebloui is gorgeous and really makes my green eyes pop. It’s a brownish, berry-ish, reddish color, with just the right dose of fine shimmer. The pigmentation is excellent, just like you’d expect from Chanel. Ebloui applies so evenly and smoothly, whether you’re applying a thin layer or a heavier one.

The texture of this cream eye shadow is highly blendable, so it’s very easy to apply it extremely sheerly, however the color is buildable and rich as well, so if you want a little more drama, you’ll definitely be able to create that.

I did some test shots yesterday (with photographer Adam Von Mack) wearing a sheer layer of Ebloui, here are two of the pictures from the shoot.

Bottom line, this is one of my all time favorite eye shadows, I can use it in day time as well as at night and I feel like the color makes my green eyes pop and draw attention. I’m definitely in love with this one!
