My beauty essentials for sunny Thailand

So far we have been very lucky with the weather in Thailand, it is summer time here and fortunately it has been sunny every day and well over 30 degrees celsius (almost too hot) since we arrived. I don’t use the same skincare and beauty products in summer as in winter (obviously), so I thought I’d share some of my sunny weather/summer beauty essentials that I’ve brought with me to Thailand.

Chanel Le Vernis #617 Holiday
This nail polish is from Chanel’s 2012 summer collection and is a stunning and loud orange-red with a cream finish. Bright colors like this one looks amazing on tanned skin. I’ve only been wearing this on my toes since I arrived in Thailand.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Cream SPF 30
This is one of my all-time favorite facial sunscreens, it works perfect with my sensitive skin and even though it has a creamy texture it absorbs super fast into the skin and I’d say it’s rather light. It does feel a tiny bit greasy just after application, but once it absorbs into the skin, it’s really not a problem at all.

Alpha-H Moisture Boosting Facial Mist
I use facial spritzers all year long but especially when traveling or in the sun as a refreshing, hydrating facial spritz. I love the cool “wake me up” feeling it gives as well as it hydrates my skin.

Origins VitaZing SPF 15
This glowy tinted moisturizer has a quite low SPF of 15, but I still feel like it gives me the protection I need and I like to combine it with other higher SPF’s. It comes out of the tube white with grey pigment beads and as you pat this on your face, the pigment beads burst and transform into your skin tone.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR
I’ve been using the Huile Prodigieuse dry oil for quite some time now and the golden shimmered version is just perfect for summer. I love that this oil emphasizes tan on darker skin and creates a glow for lighter skin types. I’ve been applying it on my legs and arms in the evenings here in Thailand.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Tinted Cream SPF 50
As you might have notices I really like La Roche-Posay’s sunscreen and this one is no exception. This tinted sunscreen comes in a very sheer medium tan tint. It isn’t greasy, it effectively blocks the sun and gives just a bit of coverage. It doesn’t leave a white cast and it’s very lightweight.

Eos Lemon Drop Lip Balm SPF 15
I love the lip balms from Eos and the lemon drop one smells great and has the added benefit of SPF 15, which I really need when I spend so much time in the sun. It really smells refreshing, even after a few minutes on your lips, and leaves your lips feeling moisturized.

What about you guys, what are some of your summer/travel essentials? :)

I just tried the Nuxe oil a couple of days ago and I love it! I actually used the Eos balm last summer, I think it´s smart to wear a lipbalm with sunscreen so they don´t dry out. My summer vacay essential is aloe vera gel!

Nuxe oil is one of my favourites, but i prefer the classic one. Bronze Goddess Sunscreen SPF 20 lotion for body and after sun, (love the smell and how both products affect my skin texture), Dr. Hauschka rose day light (face cream), lip balm and eye balm. Btw haven’t seen any review for D. Hauschka products so far. I strongly recomend you to give them a try! Have fun gorgeous!

I prefer the classic one as well and it’s definitely the one I use the most, I do like to use the bronzer one in summer though! :) I will definitely give Dr. Hauschka a try, I’m dying to try their rose day cream! :)

I love Nuxe Oil! And La Roche-Posay has always been one of my all time favorite brands! I personally use Avène’s Eau thermale as a mist, it always refreshes my skin!

Definitely with everyone else about the Nuxe oil. There’s
just something so completely summery about the d’Or scent and I’ve
found myself smelling it recently to remind me of sunshine…
Perhaps a little strange! :) Do you buy the EOS online, or is it
available in stores around you? Can’t seem to find it here at
    all!

Yes I love the scent of the Nuxe oil as well. I buy the Eos lip balm in Norway, a lot of shops have it there.. But here in Paris it’s hard to find… :/
