Chanel Le Vernis in #563 Vertigo is described as a grey-black nail polish, but I actually find quite hard to describe it. The color is infused with that signature Chanel shimmer which is visible in the bottle, but unfortunately not so apparent on the nail. If you hold the bottle at an angle to the light, it will show flashes of red, plum and gold in the frost.
The consistency of Vertigo is just right, it’s easy to apply and it’s not too thick or too thin. The color was fully opaque after two coats, but if you are good with your application, you could get away with a single coat.
All in all, Chanel Le Vernis Vertigo is a fabulous, creamy dark color that is perfect for autumn!
