Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR

I’ve been using the Huile Prodigieuse dry oil for quite some time now and the golden shimmered version is just perfect for summer – especially as I haven’t seen much of the sun!

What I love about this dry oil is that it gives an amazing effect to any skin tone, emphasizes tan on darker skin and creates a glow for lighter skin types. All this without the specs of gold looking glittery on skin. It moisturizes and conditions skin very well, it absorbes quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky, not greasy nor shiny. I use it mostly on my body (legs and arms) but also in my hair and face. There is a very light, pleasant scent that seems to fade after an hour or so, I personally love the smell! The nice square glass bottle is aesthetically pleasing too, it’s a glass bottle and quite similar to a perfume bottle. A perfect elegant addition to my beauty collection.

The Huile Prodigieuse from Nuxe was one of my first discoveries of the French pharmcaie and it is now a staple product in my beauty collection. The shimmer version is also a great addition and it is definitely one of my summer must-haves.

Do you know this product (or similar ones)? What’s your thoughts? :)

    Hi Hanne!

I have owned this oil for about 2 years now. I know, how can I possibly keep it for so long without having to re-purchase? As you said, the texture is really nice and the golden shimmers are really beautiful! But, the big problem for me is the smell! It is one of these sweet smells that remind me slightly of caramel, or something else that is sugary and edible.
For those who love this kinds of smells (maybe slightly like the Angel perfume), the oil is perfect though!

That’s amazing you’ve managed to keep it for so long! :) When it comes to the smell, either you love it or hate it. Fortunately I love it :)

This really is my product of the moment too – I picked it up in the French Pharmacie too, and I agree how elegant it looks on my dressing table! It is perfect for arms and legs everyday in the Summer, and after falling in love with this version, I’ve started using the original to lock in the moisture after I’ve showered too!

Takk for tips, Hanne! Jeg har ikke hørt om den olje før, men har veldig lyst for å teste den:) Hvor kan jeg kjøpe den? Jeg har også lettet mye etter den vanlig Nuxe oljen men ingen success ennå)))

I love it too! I bought the “parfum prodigieux”, i love the way it smells ! I’ve tried a similar oil ” huile du voyageur” by Guerlain it smells amazing but it’s more expensive!

I was thinking about buying this one and the other regular
one :) But could you tell me something about the ingredients: is it silicon-free and paraben-free?I only use beauty products without these chemicals. Thanks in advance!

I usually use the “huile podigieuse” but not the “or” version. I have a very small bottle the pharmacist gave me when I bought a bottle of the huile prodigiuse. I never try it but I think this will not go on. I’m just afraid the glow is too shiny and not very natural.

I understand your worry about the glow not being natural but I think it blends in really well, especially if you have a tan! :)

I was wondering: does this oil stain your clothes? Is it “safe” with any clothing material? Thanks in advance
