Monthly Favorites: July

As the month of July just flied by I didn’t even realize it’s August 2nd already and that it’s about time to post my beauty round-up of July. I’ve tried and used a lot of new products last month, but these are my most used and favorite products from the month of July.

Ole Henriksen Total Truth Eye Cream SPF 15
This is a very rich and concentrated eye cream with SPF 15, exactly what I need at this time of the year. It does a good job removing dark circles as well as it is surprisingly firming.

Bioderma Crealine H2O
Surprise surprise, this product will probably always be in my skin care routine, I love it! It does a great job removing my makeup and is very gentle, exactly what my normal/sensitive skin needs. As I’ve been travelling a lot this summer I’ve replaced my 500 ml bottle with a smaller, cuter one, better fitted for traveling.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Créme
I wrote my review about this wonderful cream just a few days ago. This is my new HG moisturizer as it does wonders for my skin. Hydra Beauty Crème claims it will make normal to dry skin as soft, smooth and velvety as a flower petal, and that’s exactly what it does. This cream is very hydrating and gives my skin a dewy and plumped-up look. Love it!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR
I’ve been using the Huile Prodigieuse dry oil for quite a couple of years and this one with golden shimmer in it is just perfect for summer! It gives an amazing effect to any skin tone, emphasizes tan on darker skin and creates a glow for lighter skin types. All this without the specs of gold looking glittery on skin. Moisturizes and conditions skin very well without feeling oily, absorbs quickly. When it comes to the scent of this product I think either you love it or hate it (I love it).

Origins VitaZing SPF 15
I love this, it adds a beautiful glow to your skin when you don’t feel like wearing any makeup. It comes out of the tube white with grey pigment beads and as you pat this on your face, the pigment beads burst and transform into your skin tone. It’s a great light daytime moisturizer, especially for the warmer months. The only thing I will say is that it’s very sheer, it’s not for people who are very pale or need more coverage. A full review is coming soon.

Chanel Sable-Emouvant Eye Shadow Duo
I’ve used this eyeshadow duo a lot this summer, the colors are just perfect. In indoors lighting, Sable-Emouvant duo appears as a rich chocolate and creamy beige with fine shimmers, once in the sunlight you can see the beautiful shimmers come to life. This is definitely one of the most universally flattering eyeshadow duos I’ve ever come across. These eyeshadow powders are also exceptionally fine and silky smooth.

Are you familiar with any of the products above? What’s your July favorites?
