Bahama Mama

I absolutely love the color of this nail polish from Essie – rich dark gorgeous plum, which is perfect for this time of the year.  I think it’s classy, elegant and I feel sophisticated when I wear it.

Two coats gives a fully opaque color, a bit darker than the color in the bottle

Two coats in different lighting

I like how it’s not a regular dark red color, it’s definitely a purple-magenta color that is a little bit different. This is a cream color and has no shimmer/glitter to it. I find Bahama Mama to be pretty sheer with the first coat, but by the second it is fully opaque.

What do you guys think? Have you tried this nailpolish (or similar ones) from Essie?

This is on my toes right now, and it has to be one of my all time favourite Essie shades – my best friend used mine and now she is obsessed, went out to buy herself a bottle when it had barely dried!

It really is a very pretty colour. I’m more of a red girl, but I think I would totally like this purplish red, and I completely agree that these kind of colours look classy and elegant ^^

    Hey !
I love this one, wonderful (y)
I have nearly the same color of red nail polish, a Bourjois named “escarpin” (what a beautiful name by the way). Dark red color is the sweetest red nails polish, I am convinced :)
However, how do you manage to remove this one, I feel terrible when I see my little beauty on the fingers/ skin after the solvent step..
I hope you’ll be here and take a few time to answer my question, because of my “accident”, I’ve only weared mine once ! Such a sad affair ;)

You definitely should try it! :)
The castle we stayed at is called Chateau de la tour and is located a few kilometers from the center of Chantilly. It’s really beautiful there and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is delicious! :)

    Such a beautiful color !!
    Have nice day !

I love this color, too! But I decided to buy Angora Cardi. Its a little bit more violet.
But perhaps I’ll buy Bahama Mama, too. Its a great color for autumn.
