I’m a little bit late with my beauty round up this time, but better late than never. These are some of my most used and favorite products from the month of June..
La Roche-Posay Physiological Micellar Solution
I really like this product, it has a very gentle formula which removes make-up, including mascara, very effectively. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and (extremely sensitive) eyes and isn’t drying. It cleanses my skin really well and makes it feel clean and refreshed. This is definitely a good alternative to the Bioderma Crealine H2O. Read my full review here.
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
This product can be used as a primer before make-up and also as a moisturizing mask, I use it mostly as a primer. Beauty Flash Balm gives a beautiful, healthy glow to the skin as well as it tightens a little, and it smells so good! When using as a primer before make-up only apply a thin layer on your skin without rubbing it in. When using as a mask (1-3 times a week) apply a medium to thick layer and leave on for 10-15 minutes.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Fluid SPF 15
This not a new product to my collection and most of you have probably seen me write about it before. The Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Fluid form Caudalie has been a favorite for a while now and I especially like to wear it in summer. This is a high performance ‘cream’ that makes my skin become more radiant and smooth. It sinks in super fast and it gives a beautiful glow and sometimes I use it alone and sometimes as a primer. The fact that is has SPF made it a perfect day cream when I was in Brazil.
EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm
This lip balm smells delicious and the added benefit of SPF 15 is perfect for summer. It really smells refreshing, even after a few minutes on your lips, and leaves your lips feeling moisturized. The formula is quite light-weight and doesn’t require a lot of dragging to apply. Sometimes I use this lip balm to prime my lips before applying lipstick.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Cream SPF 30
I’ve been using the Anthelios Melt-In Cream spf 30 for a while now and even though it has a creamy texture it absorbs super fast into the skin and I’d say it’s rather light. It does feel a tiny bit greasy just after application, but once it absorbs into the skin, it’s really not a problem at all. I often use a little bit of my tinted moisturizer (Laura Mercier and La Roche-Posay) on top and they work great together. This sunscreen is made for sensitive skin and what I like about is that it only feels like a sunscreen for a few minutes, it melts quickly into my skin without leaving behind any smell or visible clue that I’m wearing it.
Estelle & Thild Ecorganic Hand Cream
I use hand creams all year long and especially when I travel as my skin dries very easily inside air planes. This organic hand cream from Estelle & Thild is based on softening shea butter and nutritious almond oil, it protect and soothe the skin, leaving it richly hydrated. This is an easily absorbed hand cream that is very moisturizing and conditioning without being sticky. This cream leaves a lovely scent of neroli and bergamot on your hands, love it!
