Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

Even though I’ve written about the tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier before, I’ve never written a full review, so here we go. I really like this tinted moisturizer – it’s sheer, very lightweight as well as it gives a little bit of coverage and evens out the skintone. It definitely gives your skin that healthy glow and a natural, dewy finish, which the product is promised to do.

It comes in a 40 ml tube and has SPF 20 in it which is great for summer holidays. However, the SPF is definitely a plus, but I don’t rely on it if I’m going into the sun for a long time. I use the shade Nude and it blends perfectly with my skin and it lasts for hours. The skin looks really nice and you do not look like you’re wearing anything.

I would highly recommend this product for  those that are looking for a makeup look that is more suited for summer time. Less is more, especially in summer. It gives minor coverage and evens out the skintone. I use it over my regular moisturizer and eye cream.

This is definitely a pricey product, but a little goes a long way so the producy last for a long time. The only thing I don’t like is the opening of the product, for some reason it gets really messy. Every time I twist the lid open, it’s messy in there. Another thing is that it doesn’t seem to agree with air travel and the pressure that comes along with it. I travel quite frequently and the tube seem to “explode” a bit each time, not fully in the sense that the tube is broken, but once you open it upon arrival, quite a big amount of the product is inside the lid.

Still, other than that I really like the product and will repurchase unless I find another tinted moisturizer I like better. The tinted moisturizer from La Roche Posay is definitely a very good (and less expensive) product, but I find the colors at LM a bit better suited for my skintone.

What is your favorite tinted moisturizer? Did you try this one from Laura Mercier? :)
