I think every girl is in a constant search for the perfect Mascara – including me. Right now I have two favorites which I swear to every day (Lancome L’Extreme and Bourjois Ultra Curl), though I have been very curious about the mascaras from d.j.v beautenizer which is the top-selling (mascara) brand in Japan.
“Fibrewig is a hi-tech fusion of brush-on, false-lash filaments & a hypoallergenic, liquid-to-film lash coating that you apply like regular mascara. The glossy formula holds the volumising, lengthening fibres in place for lashes so voluptuous you’ll cause a breeze when you blinc. You can literally sleep in it & it won’t flake or smudge, but removal is easy, with a quick soak in warm water it just slides off without any rubbing. As long as still wet, you can build up & out as much as you want.”
So, what are my thoughts? What I absolutely love about this mascara is that there is no flaking or under-eye smudging, you can rub your eyes, cry, wear it to the gym or at the beach and it wont flake. I like to wear mascara when I go the gym or the beach but I hate the waterproof ones as they can be really tricky to get off. I’ve already been wearing this at the gym and I can’t wait to use it when I go to the beach in Rio.
What I also adore about this mascara is that it’s really easy to remove, there is no rubbing needed. I usually put a little bit of my cleanser over the eye area (Liz Earle or Alpha-H – both doesn’t sting), then soak a cloth in hot water, hold it over my eye for about 5-10 seconds, and the mascara slides off easily. Rubbing too much around your eyes can cause the skin to wrinkle which can make you look older than you really are.
When I apply the mascara it doesn’t clump and it does a good job separating my lashes, though I was expecting a little bit more volume. It definitely lengthens but it doesn’t give you fat lashes. I know it says it’s buildable and I’m sure I could achieve more volume with several coats, but I just don’t have the patience, at least not in the morning.
All in all I really like this mascara and I would highly recommend it for a more natural look.
Which mascara is your favorite at the moment, and do you have one you always fall back to? :)
