Back in Paris

by Hanne on February 22, 2012

So I’m back in Paris and it feels magnifique, though I have to admit I actually miss Norway quite a bit, I had such an amazing time there.
Today I haven’t done much else than packing out my bags and working on my school assignment in Brand Building. I was supposed to deliver tomorrow but I just found out my teacher changed the date till next week, but the sooner I’m done, the better! :)

My skin is really sensitive and itchy nowadays and I had to go to the pharmacy and get some more allergy pills today. I hate to take allergy pills every day because of this, but I have to! I can’t wait to go to Brazil and get some sun, this usually makes my skin a whole lot better. My agencies want me to stay super pale but from now on I’ll put my skin first – I can’t take this anymore. I’m using the La Roche-Posay Baume AP cream/balm right now, and it does calm down my skin, but still I need to take allergy pills.

Do you have any experiences with sensitive skin and creams that really works?

I also have a sensitive skin and I use Avene product (Trixera).
Those products really soothe and calm my skin when I’m in need… Did you ever try this range?

Thank you for the tips, I have only tried to cleanser from Avene. Maybe I’ll take a closer look at Trixera. :) Thank you!

I also have a sensitive skin, i’m blond so I have a very pale skin. Sometimes with redness and very dry area (nose, between eysbrows, chin). I have tried many creams. I can say that the Avène Rich hydrating cream is really good (I’ve already finished 2) now I’v turned to Embryolisse Nourishing moisturiser (you can find it on their website). It says that you can also use it as a mask, that’s what I did at the begining. Now I use it on the morning and evening and my skin looks pretty good.
But I begin to have few fines lines and wrinkles (turning 31 next month…) around the eyes and i haven’t find a good product yet … if you have any suggestions :-)

I also have dry skin because of the cold. I will try the cream you use and hopefully it will work better than the one I use now!

I feel for you – I have dry, very allergic skin too – once it gets really sensitive anything and everything sets me off. I find that the Cetaphil lotion that comes in the big tub soothes my legs and arms usually, everyone suggests Avene but I find it’s too fragranced. Good old fashioned messy oatmeal baths help too, and flax seed capsules, though I’m terrible about taking them regularly:) Good luck, sun, warm weather and fresh air will help I’m sure!

:) Takk for tipset! :)
