Review – Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Last week I was sent the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which is probably the product that Liz Earle is most known for. I was really excited to try it as I’ve read so many promising reviews! After only about 10 days use (morning and evening) I now feel that I’m ready to tell you my opinion about this product.

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a rich, concentrated cream that gently removes everyday grime and make-up, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean. Used with the pure muslin cloth provided it lifts away dead skin cells, revealing fresh, radiant skin.

The tube has a really handy pump that makes it really easy to control how much product that you want to use. If you’re wearing light makeup one pump is probably enough, but after a night out you’d probably want to use two.

Before applying the cleanser I like to warm it up between my fingers and then pasting it onto my skin gently. Next I massage the cream into my dry skin (as in “not wet) to melt my makeup off, including the eyes. I like to leave it over the eyes till the end to avoid smearing eye makeup all over my face. It doesn’t sting my eyes at all – I can open my eyes even with the cream all over them.
Finally I take the muslin cloth and dampen it with “hand hot” water and then using it to polish the cream off the skin. I use light, circular motions, concentrating on areas which are most prone to blockage. The last step is to rinse.

The muslin cloth actually has a big part in the routine as it gently buffs away all of the dead skin cells on the top layer of my skin. Remember that these muslin cloths should be put in a machine wash every few uses to stop them breeding bacteria.

Cleanse & Polish is rich in naturally active ingredients including purifying eucalyptus and skin softening cocoa butter. I noticed the subtle eucalyptus right away which I find refreshing and purifying . The scent is quite strong so if you have a very sensitive nose, it might bother you.
I would describe the texture of the cleanser as being light and luxurious – it feels soft as a moisturiser but it draws out all the dirt from your skin and is thick enough to do the job properly without being heavy or greasy in any way.

So have I noticed a difference in my skin since using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish? Well, I’ve been using it in the mornings and evenings, and I can honestly say I’ve already seen a difference. My skin appears glowing and youthful, as well as feeling smooth and purified straight away.

Ja jeg har ikke noe negativt å si om den! Jeg syns faktisk jeg kan se forandringer allerede (bedre hud) og det er det sjeldent jeg sier etter å ha bruket et produkt i så kort tid! :)

You have the skin I’ve always dreamed of! Have you always had this perfect skin? Didn’t have you acne when you were a teenager? I’m so jealous of your skin, ahah!

Oi, denne har jeg lyst til å kjøpe!! Brukte du også Instant boost skin tonic? Eller brukte du bare vanlig hudkrem/lotion etter rensen? :)
