My Makeup – Step by Step

Many of you liked the makeup I had on Saturday and wanted to know what I used. The look was more than I usually use but I really liked it. Here is a step by step tutorial on what I used and how I did it;

At first I used the Beauty Flash Balm from Clarins as a primer. Then I  mixed together the Perfection Lumiere foundation from Chanel with the Luminious Silk foundation from Giorgio Armani. The one from Chanel is a little bit too yellow for me and the on from Armani a little bit too pink, but together are they perfect! Many makeup artist actually tell me they believe hardly anyone will find one color that matches their skin perfectly – that most people need to mix two colors.
Then I continued with Soleil Tan de Chanel luminizer which I love! I put it on my cheek bones, the bridge of my nose and under my eyebrows (the outer part).
I used two different blushes, one matte and one more illuminating. I put the matte one, from Kiko, all along the lower part on my cheekbones while I put very little of the other one (Lancome) just on the apples of my cheek.

Now, over to the eyes;
I used three colors from my Naked palette (Naked, Toasted, Hustle). I used the matte Naked color all over my lid, then I used the Toasted color over the outer part of my lid and then finally the Hustle color on the crease of my lid to create depth.
After applying the eye shadow I put a very thin line of liquid eyeliner (mine from Maybelline – love it) as close to my eyelashes as possible. Then I finished with about two layers of the L’Extreme mascara from Lancome.
On my eyebrows I used the Instant Brow Pencil from Benefit, in light.

On my lips I used a thin layer of the O-Plump lip gloss from Smashbox which creates a nice pink color.

And voilá – that’s it! Hope it was helpful!
